Professional ways to reduce PCB prototyping spins effectively

PCB prototyping can be extreme popular among the electronic makers and in industry uses. However, there are also many products in PCB prototyping during projecting. The most common problem can be the PCB prototyping spins which may trouble people a lot. How to deal with this troublesome problem effectively? Here are 5 professional ways to help you out of this problem quickly.

Firstly, You have to first of all research and select suppliers earlier in the design circle. The next logical step in the design process is to get back a working example of the prototype design for testing. This process consists of multiple steps—components must be procured; the PCB has to be fabricated; and the parts need to be correctly attached to the PCB. How this manufacturing flow ultimately occurs is up to the design team to select and manage.

Talk with suppliers’ customer service technical teams or sales teams, and determine just how well they can respond with quality across the whole range of your anticipated project styles. Fabricating the PCB that serves as the connection medium for all the components and connectors that make up your circuit design. In the process of getting to know your manufacturing chain, you should assess your contacts for their ability to consult on your design particulars.

Secondly, you should optimize for cost and performance before layout. In a general sense, the fewer components that are needed to implement your circuit, the more reliable your end product. Costs don’t simply refer to the number of components used in a design. They also tie into PCB real estate and design complexity, flying probe test times, and opportunities for design-related manufacturing issues.

Thirdly, develop your layout to the fabricator’s sweet spot. Regardless of whom you choose, your fabricator has a sweet spot—that place where designs are well inside the middle of the manufacturing process window. From this spot, minor variations in manufacturing still keep your design well inside manufacturing capabilities, and thus increase your yields and reliability.

Fourthly, verify your layout’s manufacture ability with a supplier DFM tool. A top-tier fabricator will make that report available to you when submitting your design for quotation. Using the contents of that report, which verifies if your design will fit inside the manufacturing process, is a valuable step to getting a properly fabricated board, and is the first measure toward developing a board optimized for production.

Fifthly, manage prototyping costs and hidden costs. Prototyping creates more robust designs from the first revision with proper preparation. While it may seem like a lot of useless preparation work, consider the hidden costs of a five-person design team, spending five person-days to complete the preparations mentioned here.

When the PCB design is simple, or far away from the current technological edge, these strategies have less impact on your design cycles. As you move to tight tolerances in circuit timing, then these strategies become more and more important.  If you don’t know what to do, you can also find a suitable PCB fabricating supplier for your PCB prototyping to save your energy and money.

A wide range of 3D printing materials from elecrow for the electronics fans

Most electronic makers are fund of creating and making out something all by themselves. That is a quite excellent and encouraging thing!! But sometimes collecting all the needed materials can be cumbersome and full of difficulties. Never mind, elecrow can offer a full range of 3D printing materials you need to homemade a 3D printer for better help to bring your innovations into products. Or you can also choose a completed 3D printer from Elecrow to save your time and money in the projects.

For the beginners who want to make a 3d printer, there are free guides to tell them what they should choose that which material can be cheaper. The materials available for 3D printing have come a long way since the early days of the technology. There is now a wide variety of different material types supplied in elecrow, an open hardware suppliers offering kinds of arduino products, 3D printer and other services such as PCB, PCBA and PCB stencil service in the most competitive price.

It’s friendly that it can tell us the materials you may need to make a 3D printer. There are now way too many proprietary materials from the many different 3D printer vendors to cover them all here. First f all, you may need to have some plastics. Nylon, or Polyamide, is commonly used in powder form with the sintering process. It is a strong, flexible and durable plastic material that has proved reliable for 3D printing. ABS is another common plastic used for 3D printing, and is widely used on the entry-level FDM 3D printers in filament form.

Then you will need to find the 3D printer PLA. It is a bio-degradable plastic material that has gained traction with 3D printing for this very reason. It can be utilized in resin format for DLP/SL processes as well as in filament form for the FDM process. It is offered in a variety of colours, including transparent, which has proven to be a useful option for some applications of 3D printing. Lay Wood is a specially developed 3D printing material for entry-level extrusion 3D printers.

The second material you need to find are the metals. A growing number of metals and metal composites are used for industrial grade 3D printing. One of the strongest and therefore most commonly used metals for 3D printing is Stainless Steel. It is naturally silver, but can be plated with other materials to give a gold or bronze effect. Gold and Silver have been added to the range of metal materials that can be 3D printed directly.

Then you have to also find the ceramics. Ceramics are a relatively new group of materials that can be used for 3D printing with various levels of success. The particular thing to note with these materials is that, post printing, the ceramic parts need to undergo the same processes as any ceramic part made using traditional methods of production. Standard A4 copier paper is a 3D printing material.

A huge amount of research being conducted into the potential of 3D printing bio materials for a host of medical applications. Living tissue is being investigated at a number of leading institutions with a view to developing applications that include printing human organs for transplant, as well as external tissues for replacement body parts. Experiments with extruders for 3D printing food substances has increased dramatically over the last couple of years. Chocolate is the most common.

Elecrow can offer all the materials you may need to make a 3D printer in various and specified concentrations to form new materials with the required properties. Up to 140 different Digital Materials can be realized from combining the existing primary materials in different ways. What’s more, crowtail modules are the newly produced ready to use products to easy the users with environmentally friendly, easily recyclable and require no post-processing.
